Kristen Brauer DVM

Dr. Kristen Brauer grew up in New Jersey and moved to Florida to attend Eckerd College in the late 1990s. She never regretted the relocation. A 2002 graduate of University of Florida, Dr. Brauer immediately moved back to the area and started practicing both in small animal/exotic and emergency medicine practices. She completed the requirements for acupuncture certification in 2004 and for canine rehabilitation (physical therapy) in 2010. When she isn’t caring for animals, Dr. Brauer loves traveling the world and photographing what she encounters along the way. She has a full and frequently rotating household of permanent and foster cats and dogs along with a resident chicken who thinks she is a dog!

Aimee Burke DVM

Dr. Aimee is a 2003 graduate from the University of Illinois, and has been practicing in St. Petersburg for 13 years. She has been married for 10 years and has three daughters, along with a miniature poodle named Teddi, who is diabetic. Her interests include internal medicine and dentistry.

Shannon Still

Shannon has been in the veterinary field for 20+ years! From practicing in rescue and rehab, small and large animal, to emergency and hurricane/disaster relief, she's done it all. These days she's honing her focus on alternative medical therapy and looking forward to assisting Dr. Brauer as she introduces it to the practice. Currently she resides in New Port Richey with her three dogs, Captain, Theodore and Eleanor.

Heidi Sardell

Heidi has been a Veterinary Technician for 13 years, she began her career in New York and moved to Florida 22 years ago. She enjoys working with dogs, cats and wildlife; along with educating, and helping owners with care of their pets. She has two cats, and a Boxer/Pit mix named Te’a. She also fosters 3 permanently injured Doves and a revolving door of rescues. In her free time she enjoys music, art, photography, running, gardening and cooking.

Chelsea Fletcher

Chelsea has been working in the veterinary field for 9 years and is currently attending St. Petersburg College to further her career as a certified veterinary technician. She shares her home with two rescued cats, Max and Kaia, and her rescued lab mix, Rider. In her spare time she enjoys the Florida lifestyle by boating, going to the beach, and paddle boarding.

Carol Patterson

Carol was born and raised in Florida. She grew up raising African Grey parrots and Rottweilers, but started working in the animal field as an animal caretaker at an animal shelter in 2003. In 2009, she started working as a veterinary technician. She has two cats, Skinny Batman Boots and Venom, an English Mastiff named Maddy, and two children, John William and Aria. 

Brittany Horseman

Brittany is our office receptionist. She has lived in Clearwater for over 22 years and has a dog named Bear. She is pursuing a career in the dental field and is planning on joining the military when she graduates college.

Rosa Kuchling

Rosa our part-time office receptionist. She has spent half her life in Colombia and the other half soaking up the Florida sun. She lives with her six year old daughter in Tampa and has been working in the veterinarian field for over five years.

Sabrina Fisher

Sabrina is a junior in high school. She has two dogs named Sailor and Stella and horse named Slew. After she graduates she wants to attend a local college to pursue a career in veterinarian medicine.

Sarah Speechley

Sarah came to Florida four years ago from Illinois. She is a recent Eckerd College graduate for biology. She has worked in wildlife rescue for three years. She has two rescue rabbits, a lion head names Jack the ripper and a Rex named The Bun.
