Kristen Brauer DVM

Dr. Kristen Brauer grew up in New Jersey and moved to Florida to attend Eckerd College in the late 1990s. She never regretted the relocation. A 2002 graduate of University of Florida, Dr. Brauer immediately moved back to the area and started practicing both in small animal/exotic and emergency medicine practices. She completed the requirements for acupuncture certification in 2004 and for canine rehabilitation (physical therapy) in 2010. When she isn’t caring for animals, Dr. Brauer loves traveling the world and photographing what she encounters along the way. She has a full and frequently rotating household of permanent and foster cats and dogs along with a resident chicken who thinks she is a dog!

Kayla Canfield

Kayla has lived Clearwater her entire life and has 5 dogs at home - Pumpkin, Riley, Gracie, Chloe, and Sadie. She is attending St. Petersburg College to further her education as a certified veterinary technician.

Nicole Corcella

Nicole Corcella is a veterinary technician that has been with us since Fall of 2018. She has 9 pets at home named Brownie, Isabel, Jack, Jinx, Marbles, Marlin, Mia, Riley and Tootsie.

Sabrina Fisher

Sabrina is a junior in high school. She has two dogs named Sailor and Stella and horse named Slew. After she graduates she wants to attend a local college to pursue a career in veterinarian medicine.

Carol Patterson

Carol was born and raised in Florida. She grew up raising African Grey parrots and Rottweilers, but started working in the animal field as an animal caretaker at an animal shelter in 2003. In 2009, she started working as a veterinary technician. She has two cats, Skinny Batman Boots and Venom, an English Mastiff named Maddy, and two children, John William and Aria. 

Heidi Sardell

Heidi has been a Veterinary Technician for 18 years, she began her career in New York and moved to Florida 22 years ago. She enjoys working with dogs, cats and wildlife; along with educating, and helping owners with care of their pets. She has two cats, and a Boxer/Pit mix named Te’a. She also fosters 3 permanently injured Doves and a revolving door of rescues. In her free time she enjoys music, art, photography, running, gardening and cooking.

Samantha Goldstein

Samantha Goldstein is our practice administrator and a biology student at St. Petersburg College. She has lived in Clearwater for 17 years and has one adorable Shih-Tzu at home named Tophia.
